Introduction

The iS series explosion-proof collaborative robot is a dedicated explosion-proof cobot designed for hazardous areas with explosive gas and combustible dust. With an integrated explosion-proof design across the whole unit and national-level explosion-proof safety certification, it can be widely used in special industrial scenarios where flammable and explosive risks exist.

The iS series explosion-proof robot arm can be used with the AUBO-CB-iS series controllers.

Applications

Suitable for fine chemicals and pharmaceutical production, combustible powder processing and dust explosion protection, complete vehicles and high-end intelligent manufacturing, military manufacturing, coating and spraying, and all scenarios with flammable and explosive hazards.

Features & Advantages

  • Compound explosion-proof certification: The equipment has obtained compound dual explosion-proof certification, with the marking Ex db ib pxb [ib Gb] IIC T6Gb / Ex ib tb [ib Db] IIIC T80℃ Db, making it suitable for both explosive gas and combustible dust hazardous environments.
  • Complete explosion-proof solution: The explosion-proof robot body, explosion-proof control cabinet, and explosion-proof teach pendant form a full set of explosion-proof components, so users do not need additional explosion-proof retrofits. This simplifies deployment, shortens project timelines, and reduces overall integration costs.
  • Industry-leading speed of 6.3 m/s: Core components are deeply optimized and equipped with the latest self-developed adaptive acceleration algorithm. The payload-to-weight ratio reaches up to 1:3 and the end-effector speed up to 6.3 m/s, maintaining fast and flexible operation even in hazardous environments.
  • IP66 protection: Resists dust ingress, rain, and industrial splashing water, enabling long-term stable operation in harsh working conditions.
