I/O Configuration
[Configuration > I/O Settings] allows you to configure the functions of the I/O ports available to users, including digital I/O port, analog I/O port, and tool I/O port. For some controller models, safety I/O ports can be used as general I/O ports when they are not assigned with any value. Refer to Hardware User Manual for details.
- Filter: Filter the display in the I/O port list by signal types, including analog, digital, tool, Modbus, etc.
- I/O: Display/set all user-available I/O ports.
- Current Selection: Display the currently selected I/O port name. Click to rename it.
- Restore Default: This button appears after you rename the I/O, you can click it to restore the default I/O name.
- Action: Set the action triggered when the input port receives a signal. Click to pop up the dropdown box, and select the system predefined action in the dropdown box.
- Actions in the program: Set the actions that are triggered when the output port signals. Click to pop up the dropdown box, and select the system predefined actions in the dropdown box.
- I/O tab control: Set whether I/O can be manually controlled via the [I/O] tab.
- Enable: Allow manual control of the output port's signals via the [I/O] tab.
- Manual mode only: Only in Manual mode, the signals of this output port can be manually controlled via the [I/O] tab. ("*" status)
- Disable: Prohibit manual control of the output port's signals in the [I/O] tab. ("-" status)
